Denham Village Honey
from a local beekeeper
About our Honey
Our bees are located close to Denham, Iver Heath and Little Chalfont, South Buckinghamshire, collecting pollen and nectar from gardens and orchards in the surrounding area.
We believe in a more natural method of beekeeping, unlike many beekeepers we do not use chemicals to treat our bees for mite infestations but have allowed them to build a natural resistance over the years. We only take their surplus honey leaving plenty to see them through the winter.
To keep all the natural goodness we simply spin out the honey from the comb, filter it, allow it to settle and then put it in jars.

Services

Swarm collecting
If you are lucky enough to see a swarm of bees, please contact us and we can collect them and ensure they are given a proper home, or contact the BBKA website to find a local swarm collector.
Bees wax candles
We make candles from the surplus wax taken from our hives.
Traditionally used in churches because they burn much cleaner and longer than paraffin or soya candles.
